Arrival at Istanbul Airport, meet & greet and transfer to the hotel. A walk through Beyoğlu and İstiklal Avenue to Taksim Square, a visit to Galata Tower and a Bosphorus cruise.
DAY 02
Istanbul – Old City
Overnight in Istanbul
Full-day tour: the Hippodrome, Topkapı Palace, Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, the Grand Bazaar, Süleymaniye Mosque and Galata Bridge.
DAY 03
Gallipoli – Çanakkale – Troy
Dinner & overnight in Çanakkale
Travel to the Gallipoli Peninsula. Visit the Kabatepe Museum and the ANZAC Cove area, cross the Dardanelles and continue to Troy, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
DAY 04
Çanakkale – Pergamon – Kuşadası
Dinner & overnight in Kuşadası
Drive to Pergamon, one of the most important ancient cities of Asia Minor: the Acropolis, the ancient theatre, the Temple of Trajan and the Library of Pergamon. Continue to Kuşadası.
DAY 05
Ephesus – Şirince – Pamukkale
Dinner & overnight in Pamukkale
Visit Ephesus, the Temple of Artemis, the House of the Virgin Mary and the charming village of Şirince. Continue to Pamukkale and check in at a thermal hotel.
DAY 06
Pamukkale – Hierapolis – Antalya
Dinner & overnight in Antalya
Optional hot-air balloon flight at sunrise, subject to weather. Visit the Pamukkale travertines and the ancient city of Hierapolis, then travel through the Taurus Mountains to Antalya.
DAYS 07–09
Antalya at leisure
Overnights in Antalya
Three relaxed days on the Mediterranean. Optional visits to Kaleiçi old town, Hadrian's Gate and the harbour; beach and hotel facilities; an optional Turkish hammam experience and free time for shopping.
